Who we are
It is truly our heritage.
Heritage Home Builders was born from a grandson’s determination to honor his grandfather’s legacy. Our name reflects that purpose: building is part of our family’s history, identity, and passion. It is truly our heritage, carried forward through the homes we create and the care we put into every detail.
Where it began
A legacy left behind, never forgotten.
In the early 1950s, Luis Rodriguez Sr.’s grandfather was a home builder in Cuba. When he was forced to leave his beloved homeland in search of freedom and safety for his family, he left behind the work he had dedicated his life to. He never built again, nor did he live to see his grandson revive that legacy. But his example endured, inspiring a new generation to build.
Founded more than 37 years ago
Built on perseverance and passion.
More than 37 years ago, Luis Sr. founded Heritage Home Builders with that purpose. Through perseverance, hands-on experience, and a deep passion for construction, he grew the company into one of South Florida’s most respected privately owned residential community builders.
The past decade
Ultra-luxury, exclusively.
As Miami evolved, so did Heritage. After years of developing large-scale residential communities, Luis Sr. recognized an opportunity to bring the company’s experience to a more personal scale: exceptionally curated homes where architecture, materials, and craftsmanship receive the attention they deserve.
For the past decade, Heritage has devoted itself exclusively to the construction and development of ultra-luxury residences, combining the discipline of an experienced developer with the care and precision of a master builder and an unparalleled attention to detail.
The proof is in the results: Heritage homes continue to set record sales in the neighborhoods we build in, a reflection of the appreciation buyers have for the quality of our craftsmanship.
The Rodriguez family today
A vision shared by the entire family.
Today, that vision is shared by the entire Rodriguez family. Following a successful professional auto racing career, Luis Rodriguez Jr. joined his father, bringing a competitive drive, an appreciation for precision, and a shared passion for luxury construction.
Together with Lily Rodriguez, Luis Sr.’s wife, and Gianna Rodriguez, their youngest of two daughters, they continue to shape Heritage as a family-owned company with a deeply personal commitment to its work.
What we believe
As thoughtfully built as it is beautifully designed.
We believe an extraordinary home must be as thoughtfully built as it is beautifully designed. From the integrity of its construction to the finish of its smallest detail, every decision matters.
We bring together the world’s finest materials, distinctive design, decades of building expertise, and an exceptional team that takes genuine pride in its work to create residences of lasting quality and character.
